Police Services

The Ontario Provincial Police provides police protection in the Minden area. An Administrative Office for the OPP is located on Highway #35 in Minden. Central Region Detachment Directory.

Fire Services

If you require clarification in regard to "non-emergency" fire services in your area, please contact either the Minden Fire Hall at (705) 286-1202 or the Township of Minden Hills Administration Office at (705) 286-1260. The Township of Minden Hills is committed to providing the best fire protection coverage for our ratepayers and visitors.

Ambulatory Care

All ambulances in Haliburton County are controlled from a central dispatch area. Ambulances are based in both Minden and Haliburton. For "non-emergency" services, please call the Administration Office for the County of Haliburton (705) 286-1333. For the Minden Ambulance Base.
