The Township of Minden Hills advises that all the trail systems at Snowdon Park are open. Please note that the orange trail long bridge remains closed.
The Minden Hills Museum & Heritage Village and Nature’s Place continues to offer drop-in programming activities in August. All programs take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pre-registration is not required, and admission is by donation. The programs are best suited for ages 5 to 12.

Please be advised that the tertiary sand filter bypass at the Minden Wastewater Treatment Plant has ended and the plant has resumed regular operations.
Please be advised that due to heavy rain, the Minden Wastewater Treatment Plant began a tertiary sand filter bypass on Tuesday July 21, 2026 at approximately 2:00 p.m. All wastewater treated at the plant is still receiving primary and secondary treatment and disinfection prior to discharge.

The Minden Library is located at 176 Bobcaygeon Road, in Minden Ontario. Together with the Minden Cultural Centre and Agnes Jamieson Gallery, the Minden Library provides an important resource and learning center for residents of all ages.
The Township of Minden Hills is seeking a qualified contractor to complete a retaining wall reconstruction, including a block wall structure and four (4) helical piles. The Township anticipates construction to take place during the summer/fall of 2026.
The purpose of the Public Meeting will be to consider a proposed Minor Variance Applications PLMV2026033 (Gustafson) and PLMV2026034 (Scharnweber-Carter) to the Township of Minden Hills Zoning By-law pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act.
