Notice Of Public Hearing Application for Minor Variance PLMV2024001 - 1011 Kc Dam Road

Take Notice That the Committee of Adjustment of the Township of Minden Hills will hold a Public Hearing on:

Date: Monday, March 25, 2024

Time: 9:30 AM

Location: This will be a hybrid meeting. Members of the public may attend either in person or electronically via Zoom. Details are provided below.

The purpose of the public hearing will be to consider a proposed Minor Variance to the Township of Minden Hills Zoning By-law.

Purpose and Effect of the Application:

The purpose of the application is to provide relief from the Township of Minden Hills Zoning By-law 06-10, as amended, to permit the relocation of the existing 61.78 square metre dwelling currently located 1.83 metres (6 feet) over the property line. The effect of the application would permit a side yard setback of 6.13 metres (20.17 feet) from the western lot line, where otherwise a side yard setback of 10 metres (32.81) is required.

Input on the above noted application is welcome and encouraged. You can provide your input, either in support or opposition to the proposed minor variance, by making a written submission to the Township or by speaking at the Public Hearing. To provide input in writing, or to request written notice of the decision, please contact the undersigned or e-mail Amanda Dougherty, Manager of Planning.

Location: Township Council Chambers, located at 7 Milne Street, Minden.

To Participate: To make comment/speak at the public meeting pre-register by emailing Planning Department by Friday, March 22, 2024 before 4:00 PM or by registering the morning of the meeting before 9:00 AM in the Council Chambers.
