Bear Sightings in Minden Hills

The Township of Minden Hills has been advised that bear sightings near residential areas are continuing.
If you see a bear roaming / inspecting garbage near residential areas, please call the toll-free Bear Wise reporting line at 1-866-514-2327 or TTY at 705-945-7641. In case of emergency, call 911 or your local police if a bear poses an immediate threat to personal safety and exhibits threatening or aggressive behaviour.

Subject: Notice of Road Maintenance on Miner’s Bay Road and Buller Road
The Township of Minden Hills is advising residents of the upcoming maintenance to be performed on Miner’s Bay Road and Buller Road. The road maintenance is expected to begin on Friday June 20, 2025.
The road may be reduced to one lane at times. Residents are asked to be patient and to take alternate routes if possible.
