SUBJECT: Notice of Water Main Shutdown 

This notice is to inform residents that there may be a temporary disruption to water service on Monday December 12, 2022, and Tuesday December 13, 2022, between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM while a contractor replaces two malfunctioning fire hydrants on Bobcaygeon Road.

Residents on the Township water system on Bobcaygeon Road North of McKay Street, including residents on Fleming Road, may experience this interruption. Water will be restored overnight and shut down again in the morning if the repair is expected to go into December 13^th.

Please reference the map below to determine which residents or businesses may be affected.

Please plan ahead on these days by storing enough water for drinking and hand washing, etc. during the shutdown period.

It is common for tap water to have a discolouration after the main lines have been serviced. If residents or businesses are experiencing water discolouration, please flush your taps for a few minutes. This will generally fix the issue.

Please note that Archie Stouffer Elementary School and HHHS Minden Hospital will NOT be affected by this water shutdown.
