Subject: Notice of Urgent Water System Maintenance on Bobcaygeon Road

The Township of Minden Hills is advising residents of a potential disruption in water service due to an urgent water service repair which will take place on Wednesday October 8, 2025.

Residents and businesses on Bobcaygeon Road from Highway 35 to Newcastle Street may experience reduced water pressure or a complete loss of water for a short period of time. Work is expected to be completed between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Township Staff will make every effort to avoid complete water loss; however, a full shutdown may be necessary for the repair to take place.

If residents experience discoloration in the water, they should run outdoor faucet, laundry tub faucet, bath, or shower faucet until the discolouration clears.

Normal discolouration during this process includes rusty or cloudy coloured water.
