The Minden Hills Cultural Centre, in collaboration with Haliburton County Public Library, invites you to an inspiring screening of the acclaimed documentary Arab Women Say What? (2021) at the Cultural Centre at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2025.
Directed by Nisreen Baker, Arab Women Say What amplifies the voices of Arab women living in Canada as they challenge stereotypes, confront societal expectations, and advocate for gender equality. Through deeply personal stories and candid conversations, the film provides a compelling exploration of resilience, strength, and the fight for representation in a changing world. Featuring vibrant storytelling, Arab Women Say What?! celebrates women's courage and voices for International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025.
Admission is free. All ages are welcome. No pre-registration is required. The documentary is provided courtesy of the National Film Board (NFB).
