Subject: 2025 Season Opening of the Minden Hills Museum, Heritage Village and Nature’s Place

The Minden Hills Cultural Centre welcomes you to the season opening of the Minden Hills Museum & Heritage Village and Nature’s Place Interpretive Centre on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Take part in a guided tour around the heritage village or immerse yourself in some early settler games and heritage activities including a printing press demonstration. Enjoy a cup of tea or Victorian-era refreshments in the dining room of one of the historic buildings. Check out the interactive exhibits and activities at Nature’s Place. Don’t miss Browning Reptiles Exotic Animal Display from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., where visitors will be able to get up close and personal with some amazing animals!

The opening reception for our latest exhibit Mountain Lake at a Glance, The Hidden Nature of Paint, by local artist Gord Peteran will take place in the Agnes Jamieson Gallery from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

The Minden Hills Museum & Heritage Village and Nature's Place is open for the season from May 17 to October 11, 2025 Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Cultural Centre is located at 176 Bobcaygeon Road, Minden, Ontario. All are welcome to visit. Admission is by donation.
