Updated MNRF Bulletin – May 2, 2025

The Ministry of Natural Resources has issued the following bulletin for Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District on May 2, 2025:

1. The Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) – Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Flood Watch bulletin is in effect for the Gull River Watershed in the District until Friday, May 9, 2025.

The Flood Watch will affect residents within the MNR Bracebridge-Minden-Parry Sound District for portions of the County of Haliburton. Residents should expect water levels and river flows to remain high through the May 2-4 weekend and into the week of May 5-9. Runoff into local lakes and rivers is anticipated to increase with forecasted rainfall.

FLOOD WATCH: potential for flooding exists within specific watercourses and municipalities.
