MNRF Restricted Fire Zone effective June 1, 2023

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) have implemented a Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ) as of 12:01 AM June 1, 2023 which affects the Township of Minden Hills.

This is instituted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry under the Forest Fires Prevention Act. All burning permits within the municipality are suspended until the RFZ has been lifted.
