Due to flooding and severe washouts, the following roads have been CLOSED:

• Devil’s Lake Road

Devil’s Lake Road is closed 100 metres from Devil’s Lake due to a washout and flooded road section. Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park remains accessible.

Due to flooding and severe washouts, the following roads have been CLOSED:

Milburn Road

Milburn Road is closed due to a combination of a severe washout and a flooded road section. The washout is approximately 1km East of Gelert Road and the flooded section is approximately 2km East of Gelert Road. Residents should not attempt to drive through these areas.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) have issued a Bulletin - Flood Watch for April 5, 2023 for the Bracebridge, Minden, Parry Sound District including the Irondale River. 

Flood Watch: potential for flooding exists within specific watercourses and municipalities.
