We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer focused individuals to join our team as Relief Staff at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre.
Reporting to the Manager of Cultural Services, the Relief Staff provide support across a variety of cultural and museum-related activities. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment that supports heritage, arts, and public engagement.
Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with exhibition installation.
- Assisting with public education, tours and programming.
- Collections management including filing, archiving, researching and assisting with digitization.
- Assisting with special events planning, preparation and implementation.
- Front desk reception duties.
- Welcoming visitors, track attendance and maintain attendance statistics.
- Work with volunteers.
This is a casual position offering flexible scheduling, with varying hours based on operational needs to a maximum of 24 hours per week. This role does not have a guaranteed minimum number of hours per week. The rate of pay is $20.01/hour.
Upon final selection, the successful candidate may be required to provide, at their own expense, a clean Vulnerable Sector check from the Ontario Provincial Police or appropriate Police Force and a clean Driver’s Abstract.
