Subject: Friday Afternoon Movies in the Summer 2025 

The Minden Hills Cultural Centre and Haliburton County Public Library – Minden Branch are hosting two free, family-friendly Friday Afternoon Movies this summer at 1:00 p.m. in the Welch Room at the Cultural Centre. No registration is required. Snacks will be provided, but feel free to bring your own! 

• Friday, July 25 – Angels in the Outfield (1994)
  A young baseball fan’s prayers are answered when real angels step in to help a struggling team, leading to heartwarming moments and big-league magic. 

• Friday, August 22 – Strange World (2022)
  A legendary family of explorers embarks on a journey into a mysterious, uncharted land full of fantastical creatures and surprising discoveries.
