The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPR District Health Unit) have issued Media Advisory - Air Quality Health Index Moves to High Risk for the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton County and Northumberland County.

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit (HKPR District Health Unit) have issued Media Advisory - Air Quality Health Index Considered Moderate Risk for the City of Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton County and Northumberland County.
The outdoor air quality health index or ‘haze’ is caused by the ongoing forest fires in Ontario and Quebec and is considered moderate risk. Please refer to the Media Advisory for more information.
