The Minden Hills Cultural Centre invites you to explore its unique exhibits and participate in enriching programs throughout the winter season. We are located at 176 Bobcaygeon Road, Minden, Ontario, and are open Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is by donation, unless otherwise specified.

SUBJECT: Notice of Wastewater Treatment Plant Tertiary Bypass ENDED 

Please be advised that the tertiary sand filter bypass at the Minden Wastewater Treatment Plant has ended and the plant has resumed regular operations. 

Ontario Clean Water Agency will notify the local health authorities and will be completing sampling as per the Environmental Compliance Approval.

Notice: Public Meeting - Proposed Changes to the Township's Fees and Charges By-law January 2025

Take notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills will be holding a Public Meeting on Thursday, January 30, 2025 during its Regular Council Meeting regarding Proposed changes to the Township’s Fees and Charges By-law. 

The meeting will commence at 9:00 AM in the Council Chambers located at 7 Milne Street, Minden ON. Detailed information to follow the week of January 12, 2025.

The Ministry of Natural Resources – Bracebridge Minden Parry Sound District is advising area residents that a Watershed Conditions Statement - Water Safety Bulletin is in effect in the District until Monday, January 06, 2025.

This message will impact residents within the MNR Bracebridge Minden Parry Sound District for portions of the District of Parry Sound, District of Muskoka, and City of Kawartha Lakes within the Black, Burnt, Gull, Severn, French, Magnetawan and Muskoka River Watersheds.

• Municipal Office (7 Milne St.) and Public Works Office are open until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 24 then will close for the holiday season reopening on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.
