Subject: Municipal Cemetery Spring Clean Up
Please be advised, that the Township of Minden Hills Community Service Department staff will be completing the annual spring clean-up at our Municipal Cemeteries.
The clean-up will begin Thursday, April 17, 2025, and will be ongoing until the end of April. This clean-up effort will include removal of items that do not comply the Cemetery By-Law, section G, 7.1 through 7.5,

Today is day 14 of the declared emergency in Minden Hills following the late March ice storm that caused widespread power and communication network outages. Our efforts are continuing and at today’s meeting it was reported there are still 700+ residents without power in our community.
Our focus initially and to this day remains on the health and safety of everyone in our community. During the initial days of the emergency, we were focused on determining the extent of damage across Minden Hills....

Please use caution on the roadways as there will be a phased clean-up process. The Township and County Roads staff are currently working to clear trees from the actual roadway in this phase. Their focus is to make the right-of ways safe for passage.
The next phase will move to clearing the sides of the roadways. This will take time and it is important for drivers to use...
