Landfill and Transfer Stations
There is no curbside collection for waste or recycling in the Township. Please bring your waste and recycling to one of our Waste Disposal Sites.
Please remember to bring your Waste Disposal Card when visiting any of these sites.
Hours of Operation
Waste Disposal Site hours of operation are shown on your yellow waste disposal card or waste site access card. Hours of Operation for all Waste Disposal Sites are scheduled seasonally:
- Winter Hours (October 1 to April 30)
- Summer Hours (May 1 to September 30)
Holidays and Holiday Monday Hours
Holiday Mondays will operate on Sunday hours for each Waste Disposal Site. Holiday Mondays include:
- Family Day
- Easter Monday
- Victoria Day
- Canada Day (if Canada Day falls on a Monday)
- Civic Holiday
- Labour Day
- Thanksgiving
- Boxing Day (if Boxing Day falls on a Monday)
All waste Disposal Sites are closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Site Locations
- Scotch Line Landfill is located at 2038 Scotch Line Road
- Ingoldsby Transfer Station is located at 1674 Ingoldsby Road
- Iron Mine Transfer Station is located at 1100 Iron Mine Road, access is off Davis Lake Road only.
- Little Gull Transfer Station is located at 1611 Deep Bay Road
Irondale Residents
Irondale Area residents may access the Glamorgan Transfer Station in the Municipality of Highlands East. Your home must be located in the former Snowden Township in order to access this site. If you are unsure, please call our office at 705-286-3144 to confirm.
