Media Release 25-65 Municipal Water System Flushing

Effective Tuesday May 20, 2025 through to Friday, May 30, 2025 the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be flushing the Township’s water system.

This is regularly scheduled water system maintenance.

Please be aware of flushing from fire hydrants throughout the Township and expect workers to be on the roads in these areas.

During this time, residents on the municipal water system or accessing the public water tap at the Old Fire Hall may experience low water pressure or discoloured water.

If you experience discolouration in your water, you should run your outdoor faucet, laundry tub faucet, bath, or shower faucet until the discolouration clears.

Normal discolouration during this process includes rusty or cloudy coloured water.
