Public Access AED Installed in Downtown Minden

A new public access Automated External Defibrillator (AED) unit has been installed in downtown Minden to help enhance community safety and emergency response. The AED is located in the information kiosk across from the post office, making it easily accessible in a central, high-traffic area.

The unit was generously donated by Matt and Deborah of Boshkung Brewing, whose contribution reflects a strong commitment to community well-being and public health.

An official unveiling will take place on Thursday, April 16th at 10:00 a.m., during a scheduled break in the Council meeting. Members of Council will be in attendance to recognize the installation and the donors’ contribution.

Please note that traffic cones will be temporarily placed to block two parking spaces near the kiosk during the unveiling. There will be no road closures, and regular traffic flow will not be affected.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend and learn more about this important life-saving resource.
