Subject: Voter Information Letters Mailed – 2026 Municipal & School Board Election

The Township of Minden Hills would like to advise all eligible electors that Voter Information Letters for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election will be mailed on September 18, 2026.

This letter is required to vote as it has your unique voting PIN and instructions. Once you receive your letter, keep it safe until the voting period opens October 10 to October 26, 2026. In Minden Hills, voters can choose to vote online, by telephone or by paper ballot (paper ballot available only on October 10 and October 26, 2026).

Electors who have not received, or do not have their Voter Information Letter will need to contact our Voter Information Centre to have a letter reissued. Note the elector will need to provide identification, proof of residency (including seasonal) in Minden Hills (ie tax bill) and complete an oath in person at the office, the Advanced Poll (October 10) or on Election Day (October 26).

The Voter Information Centre is available to support electors Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Tuesdays until 6 p.m. at the Administration Office (7 Milne St., Minden). Electors can also attend the:

• Advance Poll on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.at the S.G. Nesbitt Community Centre (upper level – 55 Parkside St., Minden)
• Election Day on Monday, October 26, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the S.G. Nesbitt Community Centre (upper level – 55 Parkside St., Minden)
