State of Emergency - Flood 2026

The Township of Minden Hills declared a State of Emergency on April 14, 2026 at 12:45 p.m. in response to the flood conditions in the community and the escalating impacts to our community and infrastructure.

Our Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) is activated, and meetings are scheduled regularly to discuss the situation and receive updates from Staff and Agencies.

Updates and information on the evolving situation are provided via Media Releases, Messages from the Mayor and on our Social Media accounts.
