SUBJECT: Interruption to Mail Service for Notices of Planning Applications

Please be advised that due to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) strike, the Township of Minden Hills Planning Department is unable to circulate planning notices via mail service.

During this time, notices regarding Planning Act applications will be published in our local newspapers The Highlander and Minden Times. This will continue for the duration of the strike and will include the following notices:

  • Notices of Public Meeting for Zoning By-law Amendments
  • Notices of Public Hearing for Minor Variances
  • Notices of Decision for both Zoning By-law Amendments and Minor Variances

Notices and further information regarding planning applications will continue to be posted on the Township website at www.mindenhills.ca/newsroom.
