SUBJECT: Minden Hills Fire Department Saved by the Beep, September 28, 2026

The Township of Minden Hills Fire Department is partnering with the Ontario Fire Marshal on September 28 for Ontario’s Annual Test Your Smoke Alarm Day.

We are reminding people to test their smoke and Carbon monoxide alarms not only on September 28th, but regularly.

The Minden Hills Fire Department would also like to remind residents of the S.A.F.E. Program (Smoke Alarms for Everyone) in Minden Hills. Our goal is to supply and install a smoke alarm in owner-occupied households not equipped with a working smoke alarm/carbon monoxide alarm. This is a FREE voluntary program available to all.
