Public Notice - Shore Road Allowance Applications February 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills proposes to consider a by-law to stop up, close, and convey parcels of land more particularly described as follows:

1. File No. PLSRA2024055: Part of the original shore road allowance along the shore of Gull River, lying in front of 33 Laxton Lutterworth Boundary Road located within Lot 28, Concession 3, Geographic Township of Lutterworth; 
2. File No. PLSRA2025066: Part of the original shore road allowance along the shore of Salerno Lake, lying in front of 1155 Hancock Road located within Lot 30, Concession 4, Geographic Township of Snowdon.

The Council meeting to consider by-laws to stop up, close and convey the parcels listed above will be scheduled for February 12, 2026.

The above noted applications are available for inspection in the Building and Planning Department located at 7 Milne Street, Minden, Ontario by appointment only. Additional information may be obtained by contacting the undersigned or by visiting www.mindenhills.ca/newsroom.

AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE any person who claims that their land will be prejudicially affected is asked to contact the undersigned at their earliest convenience. If deemed advisable, By-laws giving effect to the proposed closure and conveyance will be passed by the Council for the Corporation of the Township of Minden Hills.
