2026 Township of Minden Hills Municipal & School Board Election

Advanced Poll (in-person) is on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the S.G. Nesbitt Community Centre (55 Parkside St., Minden) - Upper Level. Voters will be able to vote via paper ballot or online at the Advanced Poll. 

Please bring your Voter Information Letter and identification. 

Election Team members will be available to assist voters. If you did not receive or do not have your voter information letter, the team will be happy to assist. Please bring your identification and if the address is different than your qualifying address - something that shows the Minden Hills address (ie tax or hydro bill). 

If not able to attend on October 10th, you can also vote in-person on Election Day - Monday, October 26, 2026. The Election Day Voting Poll will open at 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and will be at the S.G. Nesbitt Community Centre. 

Note the voting period for the 2026 Township of Minden Hills Municipal & School Board Election opens on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at 8 a.m. until Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8 p.m. There are 3 Ways to Vote in Minden Hills: online, telephone or paper ballot.

Subject: Seasonal Closures in Minden, Fall/Winter 2026 to Spring 2027

The Township of Minden Hills would like to inform the public that parks, trails and outdoor facilities will be closed starting October 23, 2026, for the fall/winter season including the:

  • Minden Baseball Diamond Washrooms
  • Minden Tennis Courts
  • Water for Trailer Clean Out
  • All Public Parks, including Washrooms and Docks
  • All public Boat Launches

Note that Trails will not be maintained after this date, including the Minden Riverwalk and Boardwalk trails.

The public washrooms located at the Municipal building will remain open all year.
