Annual Financial Information

To demonstrate openness and accountability to the community the Township shares details of operational performance, as well as the Township's financial position.

Each year, Township financial statements are audited by an independent accounting firm and made available through an annual financial report (Auditor's Report). This report contains a summary of management's responsibility, an auditor's report/opinion and consolidated financial statements, all of which are required by the Municipal Act. The financial statements are prepared in accordance with Public Sector Accounting Standards.

The Township also produces an annual Financial Information Return (FIR), which is regulated and reviewed by the Ontario Ministry of Finance. The returns are used by the Ministry to collect financial and statistical information on Ontario municipalities.

Financial Information Return
