Property Assessment Reconsiderations

Information regarding a reduction in property assessment due to demolition, fire, property change of use, etc. is available by contacting our office. This is an application process, and requires a 357 Application form be completed and submitted/returned to the Finance Department for final review and submission to the Municipal Property and Assessment Corporation (MPAC).

Decisions regarding these applications are made by MPAC. Delays in making your application may affect the reduction available.

General Request for Assessment Reconsideration

The Request for Reconsideration (RfR) deadline is typically March 31 of the applicable taxation year. Please check the Municipal Property and Assessment Corporation's (MPAC) website at www.mpac.ca for further information and updates.
