    The Township of Minden Hills has been advised that bear sightings near residential areas are continuing.

    The Township of Minden Hills is terminating the state of emergency following the March ice storm and ongoing high-water levels.

    As recommended by the Community Emergency Management Coordinator, Fire Chief Don Kruger and the Emergency Operations Commander, CAO - Cynthia Fletcher, the Township of Minden Hills has officially terminated the state of emergency effective May 5, 2025.
