Roof at the Minden Hills Cultural Centre (MHCC) and Library facility is being replaced. The construction is scheduled to start on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the MHCC and Library located at 174-176 Bobcaygeon Road. 

Shore Road Allowance Application By-laws to be considered at the February 12, 2026 Council meeting

There will be a Special meeting of Council held on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

The purpose of this Special Meeting is for Council to consider proposed override(s) of Mayoral Veto Decisions posted January 16, 2026.

We are pleased to advise that the electrical issues at the SG Nesbitt Memorial Arena have been resolved. The facility has resumed normal operations.

Due to an electrical issue and lack of lighting, the gymnasium/changerooms and weight room/fitness centre are closed today (Thursday, January 22, 2026) at the SG Nesbitt Memorial Arena

The Minden Hills Cultural Centre (MHCC) will re-open on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 and the Minden branch of the Haliburton County Library will reopen on Thursday, January 15, 2026 to the public.

Due to unanticipated repair and scheduled construction work the Minden Hills Cultural Centre and Haliburton County Library located at 176 Bobcaygeon Road, Minden will be closed until further notice.

The Dawson Hamilton Memorial Outdoor rink is temporarily closed due to the milder temperatures.
